We have a limited inventory of first edition Commute Packs available from our original production run. The design is the same as the current Commute Pack except for the shoulder straps, which have the original cut and pocket layout. The fit runs slightly larger, so please check the fit guidelines below.
Designed for run commuting, the Commute Pack combines the fit of a running vest with the capacity of a day pack. The compression straps and athletic fit reduce bouncing while the expandable cargo area carries up to 20 liters of gear. The shoulder straps are ergonomically patterned specifically for stable running, and the vest pockets allow quick access to personal items. To organize and protect your gear for running to work, the pack includes a laptop sleeve, water-resistant rolltop closure, and a dedicated lunch pocket.
Created for human-powered, sustainable transportation.

The rolltop expands and contracts to accommodate whatever you need to carry and wraps the contents of the pack securely to eliminate bouncing.

Load the pack with the gear you intend to run with, and put it on. Let the weight of the bag settle onto its balance point on your back—neither too high, nor too low.

Tighten the side adjustment cords so that the shoulder straps are wide on your chest and very snug around your rib cage.

Attach the sternum straps. Snug the top strap, and then the bottom strap. Do not overtighten — most of tension should be on the shoulder straps, not the sternum straps.
